Group for Innovation Based on Images and Signals.

Advances in techniques for acquisition, processing, and analysis of signals and images improved adopted practices in medicine, biology, remote sensing, security systems, and other areas. In this context, techniques in computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition, and computational statistics are fundamental tools for such advances. This research group develops and applies the various techniques in the processing and analysis of images and signals aiming at achieving innovations in research and technology. The group consists of researchers who have published high impact papers in national and international journals and conferences, and has research projects financially supported by CNPq and FAPESP foundations.
