Sérgio R. Barros dos Santos is an assistant professor at the Institute of Science and Tecnology of the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). He received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (2006) from Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul and his M.Sc. (2009) and Ph.D. (2014) degrees in Electronic and Computer Engeenering from Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA). He was a visiting Ph.D student at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Royal Millitary College of Canada (Kingston, Ontario) beteween march/2012 and november/2012, and also a postdoctoral fellowship at the Dept. of Informatics of the Federal University of Maranhao between june/2015 and october/2016. Sérgio’s current research interests are Autonomous Aerial and Ground Robots, Intelligent and Adaptive Control Systems, Expert Systems, Fuzzy Logic, Reinforcement Learning and Search Algorithms.
